A Florida beach town was just named one of the best in the eastern United States by Condé Nast Traveler. Not that it's on Florida's east coast. The beach town in question is on the west side of the state: Siesta Key, a barrier island off Sarasota in the Gulf of Mexico. In its '10 Best Beach Towns on the East Coast' list, Condé Nast Traveler highlighted the best of Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
