The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for nine people from Cuba who are missing after their migrant vessel overturned off Lake Worth Beach in Palm Beach County early Sunday morning. The agency said Monday in a statement released on Twitter that boaters rescued one man from the water around 3:30 p.m., and he said he was one of a group of 10 migrants who left Cuba on Dec. 10. South Florida is the end point of the largest exodus of Cubans in nearly a decade. However, it is unusual that a migrant boat sailed as far north as Palm Beach County.
