Cvent's annual rankings of top meeting and convention destinations is back, and Miami made the top 15. The Top 50 Meeting Destinations list for North America was revealed for the first time since the pandemic halted events and shut down the hospitality sector. Miami rated No. 12 on Cvent's 2023 list of the top cities. In 2019, Miami was No. 9. Three other South Florida cities made the rankings: Fort Lauderdale at No. 19, Aventura No. 43 and Boca Raton at 47. Miami's top 15 placement can be attributed to a variety of factors, including nightlife and shopping scene and beaches, said Stacey Fontenot, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Cvent.
